Your journey to Casa El Cielo

Embarking on a remarkable journey to celebrate our love at Casa El Cielo?

We are excited to assist you in reaching our lovely wedding venue with ease. Here are a couple of travel options to consider.

Option 1: From Monteria

The most convenient path to our wedding destination is by taking a domestic flight to Monteria. You can find flights from various Colombian cities, typically lasting between 45 minutes to 1 hour.


Casa el Cielo is 1.5-hour drive from Monteria Airport. You have the flexibility to choose between two travel options:


  • Car Rental: For added convenience and flexibility, we recommend renting a car at the airport. Localiza is a reliable car rental company, and our preferred choice for rentals in Colombia. Renting a car allows you to explore the region at your own pace.

  • Taxi: Opt for a taxi from the airport to Casa El Cielo. The fare generally ranges from $150,000 COP to $200,000 COP (approximately 35 to 50 EUR). Important to know, taxis only accept CASH money. 

Monteria is Cami's hometown, so reach out if you require recommendations or further assistance. 

Option 2: From Cartagena

Another travel option is to fly to Cartagena, which offers access to this beautiful region and beaches. From Cartagena, 3-hour drive will lead you to Casa El Cielo.

Please note that there are no direct taxis from Cartagena to San Antero. Then you will have two options:

  • Car rental: Renting a car is your best choice for this route. The road trip will take you around 3 hours. If you take this please do not forget to always have cash money to pay road tolls. ATMs on the road are less common.

  • Bus: There is also an option to get to San Antero with a bus. You need to go to the Bus Terminal of Cartagena. The bus ride is around $50.000 COP (approx 15 EUR). Bus may last longer due to stops in different towns, but they are quite comfortable. It's important to note that the bus won't drop you off directly at San Antero's beach but instead at the village. From there, you need to arrange private transportation, choosing between a moto-taxi or moto-carro ("tuc-tuc"), to transport you to Playa Blanca, where Casa El Cielo is located.

    • Option 3: Private transfer from Monteria or Cartagena

    For those who prefer to avoid the hassle of traffic, you have the option to book private transportation from Montería or Cartagena.
